Parenting on the Park

Project Goal:
Turning a college bachelor pad into a grown-up and modern home to match its neighborhood - Lincoln Park in Chicago.

The Design Story:

After studying the floor plan and learning the lifestyle of the home owner and his kids, the first order of business was to lose the non-working fireplace, allowing for more wall space to place a new entertainment center that doubled as a working desk.  We also guided our client to invest in quality staple pieces mixed with more affordable options.  From Natuzzi, Jayson Home and Stark Carpets to Pottery Barn, Rejuvenation and Target, those higher-end pieces anchored the spaces while the others helped to keep the project on budget.
